Project Challenge
The development included reconfiguring and extending the existing North Turramurra Golf Course into an adjacent former landfill area, which contained three unstable slopes, the highest of which was 50m.
Our Solutions
JK Geotechnics completed rainfall, seepage, stability and retaining wall analyses. To stabilise the landfill slopes we constructed gabion retaining walls, a 60m contiguous pile wall and a stability berm.
