Project challenges
The project included a residential development over multiple basement levels. The basement would intersect groundwater and temporary dewatering was anticipated during the construction phase.
Our solutions
We completed groundwater sampling from groundwater monitoring wells installed by JK Geotechnics during their geotechnical investigation. JKE submitted samples to an external NATA-accredited laboratory for analysis and prepared a report offering disposal advice. The report was used to meet part of the documentation requirements for the dewatering and groundwater disposal licences.
